Seodaemun Prision

We went to this prision that was dedicated to the Korean fight for independence from the Japanese. The prision is famous for the attrocities that accured there during the height of the anti-Japanese movement in 1919. This place was sick and reminded me a lot of Holocaust museums (even more so because the Japanese attempted cultural genocide). It really opened my eyes to apart of history I never knew anything about. It was a very moving place and I spent a lot of time reflecting on what I saw and heard there. (We couldn't take pictures inside...so everything's from the outside...)
