Friendship Week

This week is friendship week. We made friendship rainbows using the children's hands. My Rainbow class wanted purple after the green...then blue. As a result, when I looked up at theirs while doing Smiles', I put purple before blue! So, yes, I do know that it's ROY G BIV and that blue comes before indigo and violet (purple) in the rainbow. :)

Hey Nicole!! Just stopping by to say hello. It's good to see that you're doing well. I get a kick out of seeing the pictures of your students and their work. They absorb so much at that age. Out of curiosity why is one of your students wearing a hospital mask. Hope all is well!

hey!
yeah, they do.

the masks: i wear them too! the pollution here is so bad. america is country fresh air compared to here.

in taiwan, the kids are sent to school sick...no matter what they have. we just got through chicken pox...one kid got them and they still come...then all the rest got them...

so when kids are sick, even with a little weak cough, they wear masks. some wear surgical ones because they're disposable, but others wear cloth ones...

i wear them on planes now...

Good thinking. The planes are the worst. I get it now. Never associated people wearing the masks with pollution, but it does make sense.
I hope you're enjoying your trip.
