Colonial History: Jobs: Candlemaking

We started out this morning making wicks and chopping up the wax. Yes, my co-worker is using a large rock to help break the wax! I had to do most of the work for the students. I was a little uneasy at the thought of them pouring hot wax into tiny jars. I thought they would be able to do it, but I changed my mind. I think it was a bit boring watching me to everything!!
Although, Andrew said he wants to be a candlemaker now, so that he can make candles for me!
